Glamping Jūras Krasti

Glamping Jūras Krasti (JKK) – no longer available.

Dear guests, followers, and new clients this is an announcement that we no longer provide Glamping tents and services, however, we will have a space available for two camper vans, and possibly two tents (depending on availability).

Please kindly note the kitchen facilities, showers and wc are limited and only available at certain times.

The area for campervans and tents is located in the same territory as the Holiday homes „Jūras Krasti“, a slightly separated area with common exit to the sea. Geographic location – in the southern part of Latvia, Kurzeme, 40 km from Lithuanian border and is open for guests from April 23 to September 10.

Beach and sea

The Jūrmalciems beach is ~ 40 – 70 m wide, sandy, without stones. In autumn and spring you can go hiking on the beach to pick amber stones all day long. The see is gradually deepening and safe for beginner swimmers. To the north there is around 3 km long fully uninhabited beach, which, the same as JŪRAS KRASTI, borders on the Bernāti Nature Park. There is an old pier reaching into the sea in front of the property.

Firewood

For barbeque we offer dry, chopped firewood. Price per basket – 3EUR , per 2 baskets – 5EUR. The price includes ignition liquid.

Surroundings

Since “JŪRAS KRASTI” is surrounded by a rich pine forest, this may be a beginning for many beautiful nature paths, following the directions in Bernāti and Pape Nature Parks. Nordic walking lovers will be sure to have several hours or all day long hikes. The highest dune in Latvia – Pūsēni Dune is located 500 m from “JŪRAS KRASTI”. If you are lucky, on a clear day you can see Lithuania…

There are also plenty of bicycle routes and paths.

Nearest towns and food

“JŪRAS KRASTI” is located 20 km from Liepāja, 10 km from Nīca, 55 km from Palanga, bistro BizBiz in Nīca, and restaurant/cafe „Dzintariņš” in Bernāti is 10 km away, the closest shop is 2 km away in the centre of Jūrmalciems. There is a petrol station in Nīca.

JK territory, facilities

The territory is closed and provided only for JK guests who have bookings and for guests with private campers. Free WIFI is available in the entire JK territory.

Outdoor SPA complex

The territory of the Holiday Homes JŪRAS KRASTI has a separated area with firewood for sauna and heated outdoor jacuzzi. It is attached to an outdoor terrace with tables, WC/shower house and outdoor kitchen and barbeque area. The sauna can be comfortably used by a company of 4-6 people, the jacuzzi – for 6-8 persons.

The booking includes also the aforementioned recreational zone.

13:00 – 16:00,
17:00 – 20:00,
21:00 -24:00.

Please book at least 24 h before the planned visit and kindly note that we may not always be able to guarantee the use of these services.

How to find us?

1. Put in the address in navigator (Google maps, Waze) – Jūras Krasti (Jūrmalciems), find the place.

2. Drive up to 1 m from the barrier, installed on the JK access road before the territory and it will open automatically (24h).
